It's halfway between downtown Stowe and the Notch. It's at the halfway point of the rec path, making it ideal to hop on and enjoy. The views from the fields surrounding the condos are amazing, allowing for quiet contemplation. Occasionally a deer or woodchuck can be seen from the rec center. Chipmunk and raven friends abound in the summer.

The units are bit dated but clean. It was very warm this week so ac would have been a welcome addition. The fans in the unit helped but still made it difficult to sleep at night when temps peaked over 90 degrees. Luckily an indoor and outdoor pool are available onsite. They also have tennis courts, a sauna, and a hot tub. No Wi-Fi in the units but you can go to the office if you need it. Our unit also had no DVD player...not a huge deal but it would have been nice to rent a movie on one of the nights we decided to stay in.

I've been coming up and staying at the Village Green at Stowe since I was a young child. It's got a huge nostalgic appeal to me which might add nuance to my review.

Village Green at Stowe is on an extremely convenient location near the middle of the Stowe recreation path. It's clean and comfortable and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Loved it!

Tip: Sunday features a gamers market in summer months, it's within walking distance. Can't recommend that enough.

The lack of wifi in the units is kind of a bummer for anyone who wanted to work or stream music or video. The fans are appreciated but air conditioning would be a welcome addition in the summer months. The indoor and outdoor pool were nice. The hot tub was good but fairly small. The units were big and spacious. They are a bit dated, but they are clean and well kept. It wouldn't be my first choice of places to stay in Stowe, but I would stay here again.

On the whole, a great family friendly place that allowed you to make your vacation work your way.

Overall, not my first choice but I might stay here again in the future. Maybe during a cool weather month and not June.

Quiet this time of year. Had it all to ourselves.

The decor is admittedly dated. It's spacious, functional, not showy, but comfortable. Could use more pillows or ones with better support. The kitchen supplies are often a touch worn, and there are things that are showing their age (tile grout, some areas where paint is starting to chip) but remains in tact. It's all very clean.

There are amenities down at the rec area, two pools, indoor and outdoor, a Jacuzzi, a dry sauna, two full locker rooms, a ping pong table, some arcade games, some board games, tennis courts and more.
